New Africa đ
Africa!! How exciting and sometimes scary. Our friends began their whirlwind journey through Africa in the north, where there are many Arab people. Itâs also where many Biblical events took place. How exciting it was to see elephants, rhinos and giraffes as they took a safari through middle Africa. Meeting the tribes of South Africa was fascinating. ALL of Africa had awesome and amazing stories of very brave missionaries who helped shine the light of the gospel on to what used to be called âThe Dark Continent.
Florida đ
Who wouldnât be excited to tour Florida in an RV with their Grandparents? Alex and Lexi were so excited to join them at the far western panhandle then travel east and south~ eventually covering the entire state. âTouristy citiesâ like Miami, Tampa, Tallahassee and St. Augustine gave a âfeelâ for Floridaâs history. And then the unforgettable visit to Cape Canaveral and our nationâs space program.
The Northwest đ
Travelinâ the Rails~ thatâs what Alex and Lexi did through the northwestern USA. Their trip began in the big sky country of Montana. They werenât disappointed when they spotted a grizzly in Glacier National Park, but their hearts did hurt while walking the Little Bighorn Battlefield. On the train again, they saw herds of buffalo while traveling through North Dakota. Everyone agreed Mt. Rushmore was
definitely a highlight in South Dakota.
The Northeast đ
Alex and Lexi were so excited when their father invited them to go with him on a business trip through upstate New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and end at their cousins home in West Virginia. Their trip began at Niagara Falls where they crossed into Canada. They then went from the majestic Adirondack Mountains, through New York City to the New Jersey shore~ a perfect combination of âpeopleâ and Godâs creation and finding fascinating animals along the way.
The South Atlantic đ
Alex and Lexi were overjoyed when their father agreed to âtake it slowâ on their trip north from the Deep South and go through South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and Washington DC. The Carolinas were a fascinating mixture of seashore and mountain culture. From the bears, deer and bobcats in the mountains to manatee, wild horses and shrimp on the seashore Alex and Lexi found it all equally intriguing. Not to mention stories of the Gullah Gehee people, Blackbeard and Wright brothers.
